Spicy Mango Sauce
This sauce goes great with a variety of dishes including black bean burgers, fish tacos, salad rolls and grilled veggie patties! Essentially, this sweet and savoury condiment is a great alternative to anything you would put ketchup on.
2 small Ataulfo (honey) mangos, peeled and chopped into rough chunks
Juice of 1 lime
1 Tbsp. of fresh grated ginger
2 tsp. of ground chilli peppers
Pinch of cayenne pepper
1 large clove of organic garlic minced
1 Tbsp. of pure maple syrup or unpasteurized honey
½ tsp. of sea salt
Put all ingredients into a blender or food processor and blend until smooth.
Taste and make any seasoning adjustments you like.
Serve with food of your choice! Store any leftovers in fridge in a sealed container (like a Mason jar) for up to 3 days.
