How do you create magical soul lifting moments in your daily life?
Play time is not only for kids! There are so many amazing benefits and soul nourishing reasons for ALL of us to get out and play.
Recently I've decided to include PLAY in my daily outdoors time. For me this has 'up levelled' my life in an awesome magical way!!
A couple weeks ago I took the day off and went for a walk with my other half, Steve, to a desolate island near us - WOW not only magical, but purely breathtaking, AND so invigorating!!
I've been feeling the urge lately for an adrenaline rush. So I found this suspended and cracked log to walk and balance on. I did it about 5 times and told Steve to watch me as it bounced up and down. What a rush! Pure soul satisfaction.
Yesterday, it was a few cartwheels as I was walking home - What's next?...zip lining, paddle boarding and then who knows?!
In the meantime, I'll be making sure to get out and play even if it's as simple as cruising around on my bike or running through a random sprinkler! How about you? What are your next outdoor playtime plans??

Get outside and play. Walk, run, skip, bike ride through the forest, beach or even a new neighborhood.
Increase serotonin levels. Research has also shown that playing outdoors and getting more physical activity, increases endorphin levels. Serotonin and endorphins help regulate mood and social behavior, appetite and digestion, sleep, and memory.
Increase uplifting energy. Do something that you enjoy every day, even if it's something as simple as cooking a healthy meal or listening to your favorite song. Putting effort into the things that matter most to you will help you utilize and reserve your energy in ways that will bring out the best in you.
Boost your immunity. Many plants put substances, including organic compounds called phytoncides, into the air that seem to boost immune function. Sunlight also seems to energize special cells in your immune system called T cells that help fight infection.
