Ingredients:*Recipe makes 2 Litres½ a small peeled and cored pineapple chopped into bite sized chunks5 sprigs of fresh basil roughly chopped (optional)Juice of 1 ½ limes½ of a lime thinly sliced1 ½ tsp. of raw, unpasteurized local honey1 pinch of sea salt1.5 litre of filtered waterMethod:

Put all ingredients into a large 2 litre glass or BPA free plastic container.
Muddle or lightly mash the ingredients together to release the flavours.
Stir well and then store in the fridge for an hour or so to let flavours blend.

Drink during aerobic or physical activity lasting 30 minutes or longer OR use as a recovery drink after exercise to replenish lost minerals and electrolytes!
